JJ Lamberson

Founder, visionary, motivator and coach – JJ Lamberson is the president and founder of Twin Rivers Capital and has spent the past two decades championing it from a small, start-up development company to a nationally known, well-respected commercial real estate firm. He directly manages a team of 15 and the day to day operations of Twin Rivers Capital out of TRC’s Charleston headquarters. The company has developed and opened over 1 million square feet of stores for Family Dollar/Dollar Tree alone, and has done over $500 million of business. His development portfolio at TRC is geographically diverse, with deals in a multitude of states and a wide array of retailers.

In over 30 years of commercial real estate development, JJ’s focus has always been on retail and ground up development. He spent 10 of those years developing 3+ million SF of big boxes (Kroger, Publix, Food Lion, etc) in roles ranging from Financial Manager to CFO and partner, which earned him a keen understanding of the entirety of the development process. That experience enabled him to provide both a “what if” analysis and appropriate, time-proven solutions. JJ prides himself on honoring each client’s goal and being engaged every step of the way.

In his free time, he enjoys Charleston’s food scene, travel, sports, boating, and time with his son Baker and their two dogs.
